hey people, thanks for these tips.

just one question before i try this,

if i firstly consolodate my library back to the default place in the 'my music' folder and then copy my library folder from the pc to the mac. then drag the library folder to the itunes icon... will all the playlists and stuff stored in the xml file be updated??

:rolleyes: I don't want to sound patronizing, but you didn't get TBP by accident when you installed FF on your Mac, because TBE is not in the extensionroom, did you? That would explain why a lot of the options are missing. :D But it sounds like you know too much to get caught by that one.

Yeah, that's it. The comments in the extensionroom seemed to claim that TBP had exactly the same features, but was less buggy. I guess they were wrong.

The only part of it I use is the forcing of new windows to open as new tabs instead, so there wasn't any visible difference to me.

Yes, the vyper or a case will offer good protection but they are bulky. If you need to fit your mbp in a backpack or professional briefcase I would go with a sleeve. Depends what you want.

I can't read japanese, the but the translation seems to make sense..

basically new Superdrive/Bluetooth Powerbooks coming... no change in the case. The same as what has previously been reported... so no real new info.

They don't have a known track record... we'll see in the coming weeks I suppose.

i was using my iBook (800, 32vram, 128mb ram-long story, don't ask...i really want 640mb but i can't put in any RAM) with OS X 10.2.6 on it when i opened up iChat AV and realized that i couldn't do audio chats. So i wondered what the ******* was going on and took a peek in System Preferences and found out that the iBook thought that there was no sound input or output device. That's weird...because earlier today with the same computer i was chatting with someone using the built in mic and listening to Evanescence using the speakers. Can anyone help?

I can assure you, at $70, the A Jays Fours are no where near "higher end".

My default set of IEMs is the Klipsch x10i. I have yet to find anything as punchy and detailed and simultaneously comfortable. They put the A Jays Fours to shame.

They CANNOT be compared. Two totally different IEM's. Two totally different prices.

I am using this code to embed an MP3 file into a pop-up window (don't worry, I've got controls and the user actually has to click to start the song):

<embed src="mysongname.mp3" autostart="true" hidden="true" loop="true">

This works fine on IE and Firefox for PC and it works fine on Safari for Mac. The problem is that the song does NOT play on IE or Firefox for Mac! Any suggestions?
