Bit of a scam that this isn't an upgrade from the Tweetie app.

I got a weird bug. Sometimes my albums in the photos app go right to the top of the screen and show underneath the 'menubar' at the top so I can tap on it and open the first album in the list. If I pull it back down on the rubberband effect it still goes to the top of the screen?! I have to restart my phone for it to reset and its still hit and miss whether it works.
I do too

I know that there is an app/tweak that lets you set passwords and lock the apps but I have never heard of one that locks you in the app itself. Good luck!
P.S. - There is a thing that lets you create profiles on the ipad (like you would on a computer), so you can make a profile where you only have that one app (I think)

I want to add an mp3 file into my project. It adds fine, however it stops playing after about ten seconds. Garage band shows that the whole file is still there, but it is limited to the first ten seconds.
Please help this is quiet frustrating.

Sadly, like Dr. Jones, I can offer no proof of it until tomorrow (when it won't matter ;) ).
My Verizon contact showed me his production white CDMA IP4 last night and indicated they would in fact go on sale in the US on 4/27.
He went on to confirm rumors I've read here and elsewhere that the paint issue was a red herring. The proximity sensor was the problem all along and is a complete redesign on the white phone.

Hi. Thanks. I think your right. The solution may be for me to send the "hourly" thing the way of the dodo. Set prices will help protect me from chiselers who claim they can only afford so many hours.
I don't think that's necessarily what he meant -- only that you should raise your hourly rate.
It's up to you whether you charge by set prices or by hourly rates, but you do need to be able to accurately estimate the work involved -- if you underestimate the work and price according to that, then you're stuck in the same boat.
Perhaps a combination of approaches. A website, for example, might start at $500, which includes 2 hours of client consultation and 10 hours of work, and two hours of after-sales support work. Additional hours beyond this are charged at $40/hour. I made up those numbers from thin air, but you get the idea.
That way you're covered in both directions. A piddly little site doesn't yield piddly little money, and the big complex clients get to pay accordingly too.

Hmm, that would be interesting. Let's see what iFixit will say about that.

Or you could just buy the TomTom iOS app for $39.99...
Wow, I thought it was twice that. Does it include free lifetime map updates in some way?

and if the girl isn't 18 yet, then it is rape
Not necessarily -- age of consent is often below 18; for example, it's 17 in Nebraska, so an 18-year-old and a 17-year-old getting it on is not statutory rape.
I am not a lawyer; this is not legal advice. No priveleged relationship exists between us.

weren't there other rumors regarding an "os x lite" edition earlier in the year?
I think the consensus is that Apple abandoned the idea of building a phone completely from the ground up, which was their original idea. The question is *what* exactly they abandoned. At some level it makes sense for them to use Symbian or some other existing OS in order to get the benefit of 3rd party app availability.
Then again, that rather un-Apple like, since I would think Apple would want to have total control over the interface. Maybe Apple *will* come up with a real-time "OS X Lite" operating system, and the 3rd party apps will have to be Java apps, basically. If Apple makes sure that Java performs well on the iPhone then that would be their best strategy...

Pretty amazing considering the date and cost....
Much more interested in this sort of solution over the typical enterprise that simply phones up a vendor and orders a SAN.
