Do you mean in "Events"? Maybe you clicked on "Photos" in the top right under "Library". Click on "Events" and see if everything is organized the way it was before...

I was wondering whether these issues only apply to people who JB their phones? Or perhaps there is some particular app that they all have installed doesn't agree with 4.3.1.
I too have no problems with 4.3.1

Not true.. I am the Art Director for a Art department that makes grocery store ads.
Soda is not a common loss leader since it's DSD Pepsi/Coke keep close price controls.
I usually see produce and meat used as loss leaders..
All food margins are bad for grocery stores...they end up making the most money off of their non-food items...which is why you often see a growing number of non-food aisles.
Another point... I expect that TJ MAXX just bought up a bunch of the Refurbished iPads and is taking a $50 loss on each to get people in the stores.

Well they did pay money for it. They are probably losing between $70-$100 on each iPad.

I seriously doubt the figure of "80 iPads total" aquired by TJ Maxx that is speculated in the article, but who knows.
I think he meant 8,000. I did the math myself. All you do is count the number of stores east of colorado or so. I estimate 50%-60% of stores got 10 iPads each...throw in some Marshalls stores...and you get between 5,000 - 10,000 iPads.
(notice how some Marshalls stores are holding off on their iPads until Black Friday...maybe they are apple users who actually figure out they have a prized possession...i can see most managers just saying..what are these ipads..lets just give them away).

it cracks me up that people are making a big deal of 64bit. Sure, it'd be nice, but I'd rather have the software be multithreaded worth a rat's ass, and work properly.
Nothing quite brings the same joy to my heart as starting a render in FCP and having a look at Activity Monitor, and seeing a whopping two cores in use. Or having to export a QT file first because I can't send directly to Compressor.
Amen to that. Nothing like working on an 8 core machine and seeing that happen.

I did meet SJ once, and yes, he comes off as arrogant and can be a real tough guy to work for, but, the impression I got from listening to him was that he truly just loves creating cool things and wants to make a difference. And guess what... he has. We'd be in the PC dark ages if it wasn't for Apple. Consumer products would be a technology mess if Apple didn't show others that design and quality matter. Smart phones were a mess until the iPhone came out and showed everyone else how to do it.

Haha oh dear. More fool the buyers for not reading the description. ALWAYS read the description for bidding/buying on eBay. But it is quite obvious the seller was out to deceive.

It also needs a severe makeover, and avchd native support.
The performance of FCP also needs some serious attention. I think apple needs to move away from using QuickTime 7 as the base for the program.
Using the same exact media on my Drobo S, the playback performance is like butter on Avid MediaComposer 5 when compared to Final Cut. The difference is really pathetic actually. Apple better have something good this time. The last update was mediocre at best.
