What kind of help are you looking for?? Its all in the IV forums about AC21... You need nothing... If you think your employer may revoke your approved I-140.. then you need to inform USCIS of your using AC21 to do a job change... If your I-140 is not approved yet.. you need to wait...

I was hoping my current attorney could give me information on the process of transferring my H1B, the costs involved, and how long the process takes. Again, I work in the mental health area where agencies do not have immigration attorneys on staff so if I port, the new employer will not have an attorney that can help me. Thanks.

you can file 2 i140's.. ( I Have 4 in total)

I thought it was kind of inherent in a programming competition. If he would allow external libraries, the contests could become jigsaw puzzle contests where the person who could find the best open source libraries, and piece them together properly could beat someone who made something completely from scratch.
Even if you throw that argument aside, you are still dealing with external input. The correlation with sound makes your entry really cool, but, what then would prevent me from doing a n-body simulation in C on a server farm, rendering a video, reading that data into flash, and plotting each pixel as a circle? lol.
The original constitution is the base of our government, but the amendments are critical too :D
ps: can you post your code? and btw... i like what you did with your swarming code :)

I have a similar question.
I have approved I-140 using which I have received 7th year H1 extension for 3 years.
I am planning to change my job now. I understand that when my new employer files H1 Transfer they would need an approved I 140 from the previous employer to request 3 year extension. However, my previous employer is not giving me the I 140 approval notice. However, I have the I 140 receipt notice. Can I use that for my H1 extension/transfer with new employer.

I am speculating this. Elite people in USA predicted this situation in early 90s and they put Country quota. We all knew that countries like UK, Germany, France are Staunch Allies of USA for many decades. So USA did not want those country persons to wait years . India was least favored country in past due to many political reasons. Though it is changing now still USA may like to give preference to many of their close Allies. Canada had TN Visa but India does not have similar thing. If this is a speculation then it is possible to change Country Quota. I strongly believe that it is easier to increase GC quota or recapture bill than removing country quota.
At this rate...after couple of years the GC backlog will only be restricted to EB-India

I just called the USCIS National Customer Service Center at 1-800-375-5283 to get clarification.
The representative I talked to checked with her supervisor, and her response was the following:
- The OMB number at the top is something related to the medical board and has nothing to do with the USCIS. The expiry date is irrelevant to the USCIS. The USCIS only cares about the revision date at the bottom (09/16/05).
In other words, the form that is currently on the USCIS web site is acceptable now and in the future (past 6/30/07) until whenever the USCIS changes which revision of the I-693 will be considered acceptable.

I went to a doctor who ripped me off big time. He charged $260 ( $100 Blood + 100 Physical + $60 TB skin test) and charged $330 for my wife( $100 Blood + 100 Physical + $60 TB skin test + $70 for urine) and he asked around $210 dollars/ head for three vaccinations ( MMR, tetanus and chicken pox). I did not get vaccinations from him. Then went to my primary physician for the shots(MMR, tetanus) and took blood test for chicken pox.
It took more than 10 days and it was very stressful experience. Is there a way i can make complain about this doctor?

Guys,
Can any one explain his comments,
"We presume some folks are still waiting on their July 2nd cases to be returned and are debating refiling new cases rather than waiting. Unfortunately, there is a risk of not getting the package back before August 17th and some people will need to refile without proof of the earlier filing."
Shouldn't any application rejected on July 2nd have already reached our lawyer's office by now?
Also, if my appliction, filled on July 2nd, has not been returned yet, shouldn't we assume that it will be accepted?
Greg's blog is referring to the very few applications that when filed to TSC were not accepted (as opposed to accepting and then sending it back). NSC as far as I can see has been holding onto applications all the time. Even in the worst case that they return after the 17 th of august by mistake, we can send it back since the original application was returned in error as per the revised visa bulletin.
This VB fiasco has made us all a little bit too paranoid I guess :)

I have a old EB3 PD Sept 2003 with Company A , and a new EB2 and I140 approved from Company B.
Can I ask my old company to file for I140 so that I may use the Old PD.
How can I bear the expenses of the USCIS and attorney's fees, given I am not working at company A.
Any clues would help.

I was worried about the Immigration status with the FHA loan processing. Glad it's not an issue.
Still debating whether to refinance via FHA or wait for a few months till the house prices are better and do a conventional loan. The FHA MIs are quite steep in my case ($20K upfront + $350 per month)

Hi everybody,
Can someone show me how to adjust status of b1 visa to permanent resident in the USA. I have a friend. She has a US citizen brother who had sponsered her to the USA. However she just received the receipt notice (pending case) from USCIS. Now she is staying in the USA with the b1 visa. How can she adjust her status to get the green card?
