Yes, and that issue has been acknowledged by every version of the CIR bill -- EB-1's annual limit was reduced, and EB-3's was increased. Never mind that they also sometimes reduced EB-2's annual limit when STEM exemptions were included in the bill.

When you get the statement from an India bank, ask them to include the USD amount as of that date. That way you have both USD and INR amount in the statement.

Most personal finance books will tell you that cash life policies (such as Universal Life) are financially bad investments. They are laced with all sorts of fees, which is why salespeople recommend them.
I was proposing for combination. Not 100% UL. Only an agent can find a sweet spot of this combination. Instead if 100% term (ex. $35/mo for 30 years = $12,600). How about 20% UL and 80% term? In this case probably you will get 2 or 3K back (which is not bad instead of loosing entire amount). I was not suggesting Life Insurance as investment, sorry for not being clear. I met with my agent 3 times discussed all options and it worked out well for me.

my 485 got denied lastweek as my previous employer withdrawn approved 140. I changed employer after 1year of 485 pending. I am filing MTR..
so r u on EAD or H1B? wondering if you were able to continue working on EAD.
its a gray area and even lawyers are not sure 100%.

The price you pay, indeed... my best pictures have come from returning several times to the same spot where I've seen birds before, and spending hours waiting each time. You have to like just being out in nature to do it this way. I can recommend warm clothes and a thermos with something warm to drink. :)

Only I-485 is immigrant intent. LC/I-140 - are filed by the employer, it's not 'your' intent. Medical exams don't matter at all.

As long as you are still doing S/W related job, don't worry about VB , C# or Java etc ...I myself used AC21 rule to change the job and got GC in September.. I know a lot of ppl got GC after using AC21. Most of the ppl, I know (including me) did not inform USCIS about AC21. Ron Gotcher was my attorney and according to him, sending AC21 documents might complicate the case. Also, he informed me that AC21 rule is practiced in a very liberal way by the USCIS ... so don't worry ...

I have traveled twice on same AP since in last 9 months. Once to canada and the other time to India. The immigration office does not look at anything other than your AP and passport. The most they will ask is what do u do and who applied for your green card.
You do not need to worry about anything and can travel freely.

Now I have a question?
My H1 is valid till May 2010 but not stamped. I have AP with me. If I go to India and come back on AP, I will still be on H1 and can even extend beyond 2010. If this is valid, then I think I do not have to get my visa stamped. That will be cool.

hopefully if we pay the $340 for EAD and $305 for AP for each person, we do not have to pay for it again until we get a decision on our GC.We just have to keep renewing these two without paying again..Please correct me if i am wrong.So its like pay one last time..hopefully.
