    128gb?
Guess I'll be selling my 64gb 4th gen sometime around September ;).

64gb is no space at all. 24gb of music (that's shrunk to 128kbps!), 0gb for videos, 25gb for photos, the rest to apps.

^ Yeah, how about voicemail? If its that important they'll leave a message. Shoot sometimes I even turn off my cell *GASP!* Dude, you need to go camping once in a while and get away from the world.

In my opinion, I don't think the "iPhone" will have more than 1GB just so that it wouldn't affect the sales of the lower capacity Nanos (the shuffle is an exception because its tiny and has a relatively lower concept).

I think that 1GB would be stupid. That's what's been holding back Music phones the most in my opinion.

Anyone think this is a good idea for a thread? If so...

I'm putting down an engineered floor in my bedroom, was at the local Home Depot hardware store and found a 3 piece Dasco Pro Pry Bar Set (http://findnsave.miamiherald.com/Product/3050919). It's well made, very functional for working with trim and prying up carpet strips, reasonably priced, and marked as Made in the USA! :)

I would have a difficult time spending money at Home Depot, the thought of founder Bernie Marcus just creeps me out.

40% more demand than iPad 1.0 roughly means that Apple should only sell 21 million iPad 2.0's this year.

How pathetic compared to all the other tablet sales. :p

No, you made his point because you went all defensive and fearful over Android.

It's not any "harder" to use or figure than iOS. Heck, the iPhone has a 274 page user manual... So much for "intuitive".

Huh?! I didn't think I got defensive over Android. I don't know how just stating Android was difficult to use translates to "I am defensive and fearful over Android".

I just stated Android was difficult to use. That's similar to saying I like eating icecream out of the box rather than taking my time putting it in a bowl or a cone and then eating it. See what I'm saying? Now, some people may like the latter way but I much prefer iPhone's navigation, iPhone browser, perfect integration with iTunes, iCal, Mail and others, and the App Store to Android. That said, I do like a lot of the Android features, especially the notification bar that just amazed me.

I use iPhone because I found it much intuitive to use. If you take my iPhone away and force me to use Android, will I enjoy it? No of course not but I won't be fearful of using it...geez.

P.S. Android has over 300 pages of user manual. But that's beside the point right? ;)

I had to delete the Facebook app and reinstall for the push notification options to come up on my phone. Did try restarting the phone before that but made little difference.

Thanks...I was wondering why nothing was being pushed through

thats what i was thinking about the mac pro, load one up with 4 gfx cards, or a hackintosh running osx, windows on bootcamp using the extra gfx cores and the main F@H on the OSx side with the cpu,

remember though, you can't use the gpu's in OS X, only in windows right now. so the only way to use both gpu and cpu at the same time is in windows, unless you are good in linux, i've heard people getting it to work

The sample I see here shows a way to make a phone's games or videos interact with toys.

You already have a standard for this, connecting any media device in a network. Your phone, your camera, media device to your tv, game console, internet and the cloud etc. Microsoft and almost every leading manufacturer is already shipping and using devices or soon to release with this standard. Apple is just trying to not follow standard and over complicate for us users. Bottom line: This is not a good idea. It is inventing something that is already out as a standard in the industry.

You'll have to explain how a person would do a worse job simply because of their ethnicity.

I don't actually think ethnicity makes a difference but it's an interesting thought experiment.

Imagine you move to a country where nobody talks to white people. White people are totally ignored, irrespective of anything. Naturally then, if you employed a white person to work in a shop they'd do an awful job because they wouldn't be able to serve any of the racist clientele.

If we can choose against people by how well they'd do a job, and being white would mean you couldn't do a job, could we choose not to employ a white person because of this?

I had this same issue, and decided that I didn't need to have the computers the same, since it was only certain files I'd really need the same. So I got dropbox (http://www.dropbox.com/) which has worked famously.

Had I needed more synced, I'd have gone with Chronosync (http://www.econtechnologies.com/pages/cs/chrono_overview.html), which has been reviewed pretty decently.

    I hope that helps!

No matter how much you polish a turd, it's still a turd.

People like you make me laugh. Office 2011 is great, anyone who says otherwise is wrong.

Sure, there are alternatives to Office which people may prefer, but Office 2011 is great. Complete and utter fact.

    you realise you contradicted yourself?

"I hope iOS 5 is good enough that ill unjailbreak"

"I hope once iOS 5 is out there is a jailbreak soon after"

    lols?

Let me attempt to translate the intention there:
If iOS 5 has enough new features, it will be worth giving up some of these jailbreak features that I really like. That being said, I hope that I don't have to make a choice between iOS 5, and a jailbreak for too long.

Nice about the update, although I don't really use the email for .Mac, lol. The storage space issue others seem to have a problem with isn't really a problem for me....at least not yet.

I'd recommend .Mac to anyone who wants to do this kind of stuff. Can you think of a way to do all of the above for < $100/year without being an uber geek who knows all about FTP and WebDAV and POP/SMTP? :D

Very true. I said it before and I'll say it again. With .Mac and iLife '06 (especially iWeb) making a simple website to show photos to your family and friends is simple for practically anyone to use. (great now I'm starting to sound like a commercial :p)

Coming from Office 2007 on my Windows 7 desktop, I can say that Office 2011 for Mac is amazing. That said, during my transition period, I absolutely needed a spreadsheet application to edit an Excel file for work. Unfortunately, I wasted $20 in the Mac App Store on Numbers, a program I used for a total of about 30 minutes before deciding that Office 2011 was for me.
    Just my two pennies
